Job summary

HC Forklift America Corporation (Rock Hill, SC) is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead durability, performance, and validation testing for forklifts and engines. You will analyze system behavior, diagnose issues, and perform testing for product development and emissions-related certification.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering and at least 2 years in related engine/powertrain work.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering required.
• Minimum 2 years of related engineering experience with internal combustion engines and powertrain systems.
• Experience in product testing, verification, validation, troubleshooting and diagnostics, and technical documentation.
• Proficiency with calibration/diagnostic tools such as EDIS or INCA.
• Knowledge of EPA emissions regulations for off-road engines and quality tools like APQP, FMEA, and 8D.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin, with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and support durability, performance and validation testing for forklifts and engines.
• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and data analysis for development and certification projects.
• Investigate quality issues and propose engineering improvements for reliability.
• Support multiple customer programs and engineering projects.
• Develop bilingual technical documentation and training materials.
• Provide technical training to customers, dealers, and internal staff.
• Serve as a technical interface between global engineering teams and customers/dealers.
