Job summary

Micron Technology in Boise, Idaho seeks a Chemical and Slurry Systems Engineer to support planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of facilities systems across Micron’s global manufacturing network.

You will lead design reviews, assess capacity and impact on infrastructure, and ensure environmental, safety, and regulatory compliance while driving reliability and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience with high-purity chemical systems in semiconductor or related industry.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop safe, reliable designs for chemical and slurry systems and ensure materials compatibility.
• Advise sites on system capacity, load projections, and scenario impacts.
• Review design packages, construction documents, and engineering work for compliance.
• Coordinate with Facilities, Design, Construction, and Manufacturing to align projects.
• Provide technical guidance during construction and support risk analysis and system optimization.
