Job summary

Biogen, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer I/II in Manufacturing Sciences at the RTP Pharma facility to support aseptic drug product manufacturing.

You will lead and troubleshoot aseptic filling processes, support technology transfers, and drive continuous improvement with cross-functional partners to ensure reliable commercial operations. The role requires hands-on, data-driven problem solving in sterile manufacturing, with on-site work during training, audits, and validation activities.

Qualifications

• Designs experiments and analyzes process data to improve robustness.
• Supports technology transfers into GMP manufacturing.
• Understands GMP requirements and aseptic manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in aseptic drug product manufacturing.
• Plan and execute studies to improve process robustness and troubleshoot issues.
• Lead or support drug product technology transfers into GMP manufacturing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Development, Engineering, Quality, Validation).
• Serve as SME for investigations, CAPAs, and change controls.
