Job summary

Micron Technology in Boise, ID, is seeking a Sr Eng, Manufacturing Engineer - Wet Process to help improve manufacturing performance and capacity in our Wet Process area. You will lead efforts to reduce operational risks and ensure world‑class production processes.

The role requires a degree in Industrial or semiconductor engineering and 3+ years of wet process capacity planning, with proficiency in SQL, Python and Tableau.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or semiconductor engineering.
• 3+ years of experience driving semiconductor equipment capacity planning or area process engineering; proficiency in SQL, Python, and Tableau.
• Experience supporting Wet processes and fab capacity planning.
• Strong prioritization and leadership in a dynamic environment.

• Identify and resolve systemic Wet Process area issues impacting efficiency, cycle time, and operational risk, and model capacity planning.
• Drive area performance using clear metrics, risk assessments, and data-informed capital decisions.
• Effectively partner with Industrial Engineering, Process Development, Manufacturing, and Operations cross‑functional teams to evaluate and influence capacity scenarios and mitigation plans.
• Analyze operational data to communicate trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Through strong leadership, optimally collaborate with collaborators to drive projects, lead strategic meetings, and drive capacity management.
• Lead safety and quality efforts including audits, good catches, and human QDR follow‑up.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a semiconductor Engineering equivalent degree or equivalent experience required
• Minimum 3+ years of deep experience driving semiconductor equipment capacity planning or semiconductor area process engineering required with proficiency using SQL, Python, and Tableau planning and visualization tools
• Experience supporting Wet processes
• Demonstrated experience with fab capacity planning, floor scheduling, line management systems, and fab operations
• Strong ability to prioritize effectively while leading and influencing in a dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing or deploying area‑level operational management tools or techniques
• Background validating planning assumptions or supporting area‑level long‑term planning
• Experience driving consistent manufacturing procedures across cross‑functional teams
• Experience and/or interest in developing Agentic AI workflows into current or future processes
