OSARO seeks an experienced engineer to lead deployment layer development across robotic systems in the San Francisco area. You will own end-to-end system behavior and performance for deployments and coordinate with solution, engineering, and customer success teams to ensure deployments meet workflows and scopes of work.

This role requires hands-on work with industrial robotic arms and high-fidelity control frameworks, including trajectory optimization, kinematics, and real-time multi-process

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field.
• 5+ years of robotic control development experience.
• Experience developing and tuning control frameworks for robotic applications.
• Experience with trajectory optimization, kinematics, and motion planning for multi-axis robots.
• Expertise in Rust or C++ and software design, architecture, and real-time multi-process systems.
• Hands-on experience with industrial robotic arms and low-level hardware controllers.
• Knowledge of robotic system design, integration, debugging, verification, and testing in demanding real-time environments.
• Experience with robotic sensors such as cameras, force sensors, and grippers, including integration, calibration, or real-time data processing.
• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field is a bonus.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment is a bonus.
