Expeditors in Newark, NJ is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead the design, development, and operation of AI-enabled technology solutions for Americas supply chain. You will influence technical direction and drive engineering excellence in a modern cloud platform.

You will collaborate with engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable systems, including Angular frontends and Java Spring Boot services. On-site role in Newark with relocation support not offered.

Competenze

• 7+ years of software engineering with architecture, APIs, testing, security, and maintainable code.
• Advanced Java and Spring Boot; enterprise apps with Angular.
• Experience building AI-enabled production solutions, including RAG and guardrails.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and validation of AI output.
• Designing agentic workflows with tools, human-in-the-loop, and auditability.

Mansioni

• Lead design, delivery, and production support of complex tech solutions.
• Establish reusable AI patterns to boost productivity and reliability.
• Collaborate with teams to deliver strategic capabilities and standards.
• Within 12–18 months, lead 2–3 major capabilities end-to-end.
