Raft, a U.S.-based defense tech company, is seeking a Senior Engineer to support government clients by building scalable data platforms within the Raft Data Platform. You’ll partner with operators and SMEs to identify use cases, onboard datasets, and deliver new features using industry-standard OSS tools for data engineering.
The role requires active TS/SCI clearance and on-site work in Dayton, OH, with up to 25% travel to CONUS/OCONUS locations.
This is a U.S. based position. All of the programs we support require U.S. citizenship to be eligible for employment. All work must be conducted within the continental U.S.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Engineer to support our customers and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers.
Senior Engineers on our Distributed Systems team focus on building data platforms that centralize data access for various user types. You'll work on Raft's Raft Data Platform product line by working with operators to find use cases, onboard datasets, and work with our team to develop new features. This role involves data engineering expertise and working with industry recognized OSS tools used in most Data Science environments. As a Data Engineer, you'll collaborate with Technical SMEs and government stakeholders to build, configure, and deploy next-generation data platforms for mission-critical needs.
$120,000 - $180,000
