We are seeking a hands-on Senior Engineer to design, build, and support cloud-native data, integration, and AI-enabled solutions in the insurance and financial services domain. You will work independently across AWS data platforms, Salesforce, and generative AI technologies, partnering with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable, and compliant solutions in a regulated enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities

- Salesforce Integration: Develop and support Salesforce solutions using Apex, Flow Builder, Change Data Capture, and SFDX; collaborate on integrations between Salesforce, AWS, and downstream data platforms.
- AI & RAG Development: Build and enhance AI-enabled and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) solutions using Amazon Bedrock and enterprise analytics/BI platforms, applying established patterns for prompt engineering, knowledge retrieval, agent workflows, testing, guardrails, and human review.
- Enterprise Delivery: Develop applications, workflows, automations, agents, and analytics that address business requirements while applying appropriate security, data access, provenance, and compliance controls.
- Production Operations: Troubleshoot complex production issues, improve monitoring and runbooks, and participate in incident response.
- Engineering Standards: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and business partners to recommend improvements to reliability and engineering practices.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of relevant professional experience in software engineering, data engineering, cloud engineering, or related technology disciplines.
- Strong hands-on expertise across AWS data services (Glue, Redshift, Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge) with PySpark, DBT, and Terraform.
- 1+ year of hands-on experience building or supporting AI/LLM solutions (production or advanced prototyping).
- Hands-on experience developing on Salesforce (Apex, Flow Builder, CDC, SFDX) and integrating Salesforce with cloud data platforms.
- Demonstrated experience troubleshooting production systems and collaborating across technical and business teams to resolve complex issues and improve processes.
- Strong analytical thinking to diagnose complex issues, evaluate alternatives, and recommend practical solutions.
- Clear communication of technical concepts and a solid understanding of how security, reliability, data governance, and regulatory requirements influence technology design and delivery.

- Individual life and annuity products, including policy lifecycle processes (new business/onboarding, underwriting, in-force policy administration, billing/payments, and claims).
- Retirement and institutional solutions such as pension risk transfer, stable value, or guaranteed products.
- Working alongside actuaries, underwriters, finance, and operations teams in a regulated environment (data privacy, audit, model/AI governance expectations).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with BI/analytics platforms (e.g., Amazon QuickSight), agentic AI frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph, CrewAI), MCP, vector databases, streaming technologies, or LLM evaluation tooling.
- AWS and/or Salesforce certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Salesforce Platform Developer II).
- Experience with security controls, observability, SRE practices, or AI governance in enterprise environments.
