Job summary

Leidos is hiring a Power Consultant Senior Project Manager - Transaction Services to drive advisory work in energy transactions. Fully remote considered based on experience, with potential in Denver or Framingham.

Responsibilities include leading project teams, managing economics and schedules, and coordinating with investors, utilities, and lenders. You will evaluate risks across generation technologies, work with senior management on bids and proposals, and travel up to 10–15% as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in energy consulting and evaluation of distributed generation, CHP, and other power generation technologies.
• Senior level requires a bachelor's degree and 12+ years of experience in independent engineering assignments and related functions.
• Subject Matter Expert level requires a bachelor's degree and 15+ years of experience.
• Experience with evaluation of commercial risks in construction, procurement, operating and services contracts.
• Ability to travel up to 10-15%.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate regularly with project developers, utilities, equipment manufacturers, investors, bankers, and advisors.
• Determine, monitor, and review all project economics including costs and budgets.
• Plan, schedule, monitor, and report on project activities.
• Lead project teams based on client requirements.
• Facilitate status review meetings with team members and clients.
• Work with senior management on proposals, bids, contracts, estimates, and schedules.
• Manage project requirements, scope, and change issues.
• Coach cross-functional teams to meet schedules and resolve issues.
