Deutsche Bank in New York is seeking a Senior Credit Officer within Energy Trading Credit Risk Management. You will manage approvals for energy trading exposures, advise on risk-mitigating structures, and collaborate with Front Office, Market Risk, Legal and CRM management.

The team aims to strengthen forward-looking risk oversight, execute robust credit analysis, and support governance with analytics and AI initiatives while working in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive energy trading credit assessment experience.
• Strong analytical skills, including derivatives transaction structuring and forecasting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity and workflows.

Responsabilités

• Setting and monitoring counterparty credit limits and ratings; performing detailed credit analysis.
• Reviewing documentation terms including risk-mitigation.
• Approving/declining transactions within delegated authority; providing recommendations for larger exposures.
• Managing the end-to-end credit lifecycle of transactions/counterparties.
• Portfolio monitoring; identifying emerging risks and concentration risks.
• Interfacing with senior management, regulators, and other stakeholders; driving process improvements including digitalization/AI initiatives.
