Job summary

JLL is seeking a Senior Analyst in Energy & Sustainability Research – Global to join our team. You will analyze energy markets and the energy transition to shape insights for investors and occupiers, with a primary focus on the Americas and collaboration across Energy Advisory and Sustainability groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in energy, environment, economics, finance or related field.
• 2–5 years in energy markets or sustainability research.
• Knowledge of US energy market structures and decarbonization.
• Familiarity with carbon markets or energy policy developments.
• Strong data analysis and Excel/PowerPoint skills.
• Able to translate energy topics for investors and occupiers.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Monitor grid infrastructure developments and reliability trends for real estate energy strategy.
• Track emerging energy technologies and their impact on energy procurement and operations.
• Serve as a research point of contact for Energy Advisory and Sustainability teams.
• Monitor energy policy, carbon markets, and regulatory developments for narratives.
• Develop bespoke data analysis and research for thought leadership.
• Update national decks across key markets in the Americas.
• Turn market developments into recurring outputs for leads and clients.
• Produce client deliverables for pitches and transactions with local researchers.
• Collaborate with regional leads and Insights team on bespoke research.
