Avangrid Power is seeking an experienced professional in Boston to manage timely and accurate settlement of power purchase and sales transactions. You will analyze contractual data, evaluate systems capabilities, and develop tools and procedures for new or non-standard transactions.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in business/finance/accounting and 5 years in the energy sector, with strong communication skills and knowledge of information systems.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide detailed reconciliation and settlement analysis for power transactions and books.

• Decompose complex contracts for settlement of components.
• Assist with monthly forecasts for flash operating results and month-end close.
• Develop and maintain advanced spreadsheet models for valuing energy assets.
