Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Austin, TX seeks an Energy Regulatory Senior Associate or Counsel with deep experience advising clients on commercial transactions in the electric power industry.

You will handle PPA and tolling agreements, retail supply agreements, interconnection projects, and due diligence for M&A and financing, with opportunities to engage in administrative litigation before commissions. Candidates should have 5+ years in the electric power sector and a Texas Bar.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the electric power industry.
• Experience with commercial transactions and related agreements.
• Familiarity with administrative litigation is a plus.
• Juris Doctor (JD) required.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on power purchase agreements and tolling agreements.
• Handle retail supply agreements and generation interconnection applications.
• Manage large load interconnection and facility extension agreements.
• Conduct due diligence in M&A and financing transactions.
• Engage in administrative litigation before relevant commissions.
