Job summary

Kiewit Energy’s proposal team is seeking a Sr. Proposal Specialist to lead development of client-focused proposals and related deliverables.

You will partner with business development, operations, engineering, estimating and subject matter experts to produce compliant, compelling submissions from release to final submission. The role requires independent management of proposals in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a focus on differentiators, client messaging and technical content

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of proposal management experience in A/E/C or EPC.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Communications, Journalism, or English.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Excellent understanding of construction/engineering-focused/technical writing.
• Skilled at interviewing executives, engineers, and other experts for content.
• Strong attention to detail, organization and active listening.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated with ability to work with diverse professionals.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing EOIs, RFQs, RFPs, SOQs and other procurement documents to identify and communicate compliance requirements.
• Developing and maintaining proposal planning tools, schedules and compliance documentation.
• Facilitating proposal kickoffs, working sessions and review meetings.
• Interviewing technical and operational subject matter experts to gather information.
• Drafting, refining and editing proposal content for clarity and responsiveness.
• Collaborating with pursuit leadership to incorporate key messages and differentiators.
• Partnering with graphic designers to develop visuals supporting technical concepts.
• Managing proposal review cycles and coordinating recovery efforts between milestones.
• Supporting final production, quality control and submission activities.
• Maintaining and improving proposal resources and boilerplate content.
• Performing marketing support, internal communication, and document formatting.
