You will deliver delivery-point forecasts and manage a broad set of databases used in forecasting and planning efforts. The role requires strong quantitative andExcel skills, 5 years of utility load forecasting experience, and the ability to communicate complex analyses to stakeholders.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering or mathematics.
• 5 years of utility load forecasting experience.
• Experience with linear regression models required.
• Strong Excel skills required.

Mansioni

• Prepares Central’s load forecast using econometric analysis and presents results to stakeholders.
• Updates annual substation level forecasts and coordinates with system models.
• Maintains database for annual system load forecast and provides data to wholesale suppliers.
• Updates CoopData database used for wholesale power costs and planning.
• Monitors Reserve Margin Analysis and capacity status of the Joint System.
• Coordinates information sharing with wholesale suppliers and Central staff.
• Provides analytical support to Central and Member Cooperatives.
• Ensures forecasting databases are accurate and up-to-date.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
