Job Description
BAE Systems Electronic Systems (ES) is seeking an energy engineer to join our energy management team supporting the New England region properties. This technical position reports to the Energy and Utility Manager. The team focuses on resource use reduction, lowering utility costs, improving environmental performance, and embracing new technologies across the ES portfolio of buildings. The role aims to enhance the bottom line by managing energy, water, and waste through facility design and operation.
This is a hybrid position requiring residence within the New England region, supporting 16 properties totaling 3.2M sq ft. The selected engineer will manage 3 properties (~1.3M sq ft), primarily in Nashua, NH, and Hudson, NH, with a preference for candidates in southern NH or northern MA. Regular travel to these sites is required, initially weekly. The engineer will actively engage with site teams to drive energy management initiatives and progress toward resource reduction goals, acting as a key resource for each facility.
Salary range: $95,106 - $161,680. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k), disability, life insurance, paid time off, holidays, parental/military leave, and recognition programs.
