Job summary

LVI Associates in Chicago is seeking a Senior Energy Consultant to lead energy audits and energy-management projects for industrial facilities. The role focuses on optimizing energy use, reducing costs, and delivering measurable carbon reductions.

You will analyze utility data, develop energy balances, and prepare business cases for capital projects, while mentoring junior staff. Travel up to 20% is expected, with a hybrid work setup in Chicago.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in energy engineering, sustainability consulting, or industrial energy management.
• Experience conducting industrial energy audits and identifying efficiency opportunities.
• Strong understanding of energy conservation measures, decarbonization, and climate strategy development.
• Familiarity with Measurement & Verification principles and IPMVP.
