Qualifications

• 1–3 years in deregulated retail electricity and/or wholesale power markets.
• Strong understanding of ERCOT and PJM market fundamentals.
• Experience developing analytical models and forecasting in energy markets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance analytical solutions for wholesale power, retail energy, risk management, and supply optimization.
• Build and maintain load, price growth, margin forecasting, and market intelligence models for ERCOT and PJM.
• Create dashboards and visualizations to enable data-driven decisions for trading, origination, risk, and operations.
• Lead analytics projects from requirements through deployment and ongoing support.
• Leverage AI/LLMs to improve forecasting and automate workflows.
• Partner with technology, commercial, risk, and operations teams to translate requirements into solutions.
• Communicate complex findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve data quality, forecasting methods, and business processes.
• Perform ad hoc analyses to support critical business needs.
