Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Cincinnati, OH, seeks a Senior Specialist, Environmental, Health & Safety, to lead manufacturing safety and compliance related to energetics. The role focuses on hazard analysis, incident investigations, and risk management within our DoD-focused facility.

The ideal candidate has a Safety Engineering background with OSHA General Industry knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years of Safety Engineering experience.
• Graduate Degree with 4+ years of Safety Engineering experience.
• In lieu of degree, 10 years of Safety Engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Work under limited supervision.
• Perform hazard analysis and risk assessments.
• Assist in accident investigations and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct routine audits to identify and remedy non-compliance.
• Manage projects related to energetics and safety and participate in incident investigations.
• Conduct training and communication campaigns to raise site-wide awareness.
• Interface with employees, managers, customers, auditors, and regulators.
• Travel less than 5%.
