Job summary

D2 Consulting is seeking a Senior Endpoint Security Engineer in the United States to support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) and its mission to defend mission-critical networks and data.

You will design and implement endpoint security solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and lead incident response activities while aligning with DoD cybersecurity frameworks. A TS/SCI clearance is required, with DoD 8570 IAT Level II and CSSP Infrastructure certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Cybersecurity with strong endpoint security engineering
• Active TS/SCI clearance (must be willing to pass post-hire polygraph)
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE)
• Ability to obtain CSSP Infrastructure Support certification within 6 months
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in Linux administration and DoD cybersecurity practices

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support endpoint security solutions for mission-critical networks and data
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and maintain security technologies
• Apply deep technical knowledge to recommend tools that improve endpoint security posture
• Work with vendors and stakeholders to integrate, test, and enhance security platforms
• Manage Linux-based security tools and perform advanced configuration and troubleshooting
• Support incident response by analyzing security events and leading mitigations
• Ensure compliance with system standards and DoD cybersecurity frameworks
