Job summary

Acuity Inc. is seeking an experienced Desktop Engineer to manage and evolve our enterprise endpoint environment across Windows devices and desktop applications.

You will focus on modern endpoint management using Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, and cloud-first deployment strategies while integrating SCCM as needed. The ideal candidate has hands-on expertise in automated software packaging, deployment at scale, and endpoint security baselines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in enterprise desktop engineering / endpoint management.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, SCCM, and Intune patching.
• Proven experience creating and managing automated software packages.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, deploy, and support enterprise endpoints using Microsoft Intune (Configuration Profiles, Compliance Policies, CA alignment, app deployment).
• Design and operationalize Windows Autopilot for zero-touch provisioning, enrollment, profile design, and deployment workflows.
• Implement and manage Windows Intune-based patching strategies, including ring design and reporting.
• Maintain integration and co-management between SCCM and Intune, optimizing cloud-first approaches.
• Create, test, and maintain automated application packages (Win32, MSI, MSIX) and deployment workflows.
• Build automation using PowerShell to streamline installs, configurations, remediations, and reporting.
• Troubleshoot deployment failures and endpoint configuration issues across diverse hardware and user profiles.
• Support software lifecycle: inventory, metering/usage signals, licensing alignment, and compliance reporting.
• Ensure asset tracking, entitlement validation, and audit readiness.
