Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Clinical Specialist, Endovascular, covering the Youngstown, OH to Pittsburgh, PA market, with primary duties in case planning, case coverage, and product pull-through. You will promote Vascular products through clinical education and training of hospital staff, focusing on Vessel Closure, to drive sales and market share in the region.

The role requires 2–5+ years of related experience, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and travel up to 50% within the region.

• 2-5+ years of related work experience.
• Ability to travel 50% within assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical procedure and product expert in support of case coverage in the hospital setting.
• Meet with existing and potential customers to discuss clinical needs and how vascular products can help.
• Develop relationships with hospital personnel and identify key decision makers.
• Provide clinical support in case coverage, troubleshooting and in-service education for company products.
• Educate customers on product usage with presentations and demonstrations.
• Attend clinical procedures in Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology Lab, and Operating Room.
• Respond to customer needs and complaints by collaborating with sales, research, marketing, and product development.
• Support the broader region with case coverage as needed.
