Job summary

CACI is seeking a Senior End User Technician to join our team in Arlington, VA. You will provide on-site and remote support for end user devices, software, and peripherals, ensuring the highest level of customer service and technical proficiency in a federal contractor environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a DHS Entrance on Duty (EOD).
• Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience or equivalency (in absence of a BA, 6 years’ experience can be substituted for a total of 12 years experience or an AA + 8 years).
• Ability to perform in-depth troubleshooting on Windows OS (Windows 11, 10 & older), Microsoft Office, and browsers (Edge, Safari).
• Experience with patch management software (e.g., SCCM).
• Experience installing, upgrading, and removing software.
• Experience using ServiceNow (or similar) to track incidents and requests through full lifecycle.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly (MS OS, Office, DHS software).
• Advanced experience with Active Directory management & Intune.
• Knowledgeable of Problem Management best practice and processes.

Responsibilities

• Provides on-site technical support for hardware, software, peripherals, and wireless technologies.
• Coordinates desk-side support for software installations and break/fix activities.
• Sets up and configures new end user equipment (laptops, mobiles, printers, VoIP).
• Documents changes in the ticketing system to keep asset information up to date.
• Reviews pending tickets and updates work details per procedures.
• Investigates and resolves connectivity issues related to IT equipment.
• Performs daily checks with customers and support staff.
• Participates in site IT planning, detailing facility IT equipment MACs.
