Job summary

Forged Fiber is seeking a Lead Planning Engineer, Network Planning, to lead the reliability and lifecycle management of our fiber network platforms. You will drive architecture standards for EMS, AAA, and management platforms while owning EMS lifecycle, upgrades, and governance.

Responsibilities include designing security integrations like TACACS+/RADIUS, RBAC, and leading network automation initiatives with Python and APIs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years supporting EMS, OSS, NMS, or network management platforms.
• Experience with Calix, Adtran, or Nokia EMS platforms.
• Experience implementing TACACS+ and RADIUS.
• Experience developing automation using Python, Ansible, or APIs.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture standards for EMS, AAA, and network management platforms.
• Own software lifecycle management, upgrades, patch validation, and governance for EMS environments.
• Design, implement, and support TACACS+, RADIUS, and centralized authentication solutions.
• Develop automation solutions using Python, Ansible, XML/JSON/YAML and API integration.
