Job summary

Forged Fiber is seeking a Lead Network Engineer to guide EMS platforms (Calix, Adtran, Nokia), identity and access controls, and network automation initiatives for a state-of-the-art fiber broadband network in the United States.

As a senior technical leader, you will own lifecycle management, perform design reviews, and integrate with OSS/BSS. You will drive resiliency, security, and scalable operations within the AET organization.

Qualifications

5+ years supporting EMS, OSS, NMS, or network management platforms.
Experience with Calix, Adtran, or Nokia EMS platforms.
Experience implementing or supporting TACACS+ and RADIUS.
Experience developing automation using Python, Ansible, or APIs.

Responsibilities

Define architecture standards and operational requirements for EMS, AAA, and network management platforms.
Lead design reviews supporting Calix, Adtran, and Nokia management platforms.
Develop resiliency, redundancy, scalability, and security standards.
Own software lifecycle management, upgrades, patch validation, and governance for EMS environments.
Design, implement, and support TACACS+, RADIUS, and centralized authentication solutions.
Develop RBAC and privileged access management standards.
Develop automation solutions using Python, Ansible, XML, JSON, YAML, and API integration.
Create automated workflows for provisioning, compliance validation, testing, and reporting.
