Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
• 5 years of hands-on experience with Empower Mortgage/HELOC loan origination systems and its vendor ecosystem (e.g., Dark Matter exchange interfaces, Docutech document generation).
• Proven ability to prioritize and manage backlogs for loan origination systems, including vendor collaboration and scope negotiation.
• Deep understanding of mortgage/HELOC workflows, compliance requirements, and integration points with downstream systems.

• Translate organizational strategy into actionable product features and epics.
• Define, maintain, and communicate a clear product vision to configuration teams and development vendors.
• Maintain and prioritize a detailed backlog of user stories, features, technical tasks, and enhancements.
• Ensure stories have clear acceptance criteria and can be implemented by teams and vendors.
• Lead backlog refinement and agile ceremonies to ensure smooth development flow.
• Serve as primary contact for clarifying requirements and prioritization among teams.
• Protect the team from scope creep and negotiate sprint content.
• Mentor junior product owners on agile best practices and end-user focus.
• Capture BRDs and ensure traceability to downstream deliverables and test scripts.
• Coordinate cross-team dependencies to ensure timely delivery.
• Facilitate communication between tech and business stakeholders.
• Validate priorities with input from technical leads and stakeholders.
• Conduct market research and user feedback studies to inform priorities.
• Advocate for end-user usability and customer experience in backlog decisions.
• Analyze analytics and KPIs to guide backlog iterations (adoption, engagement, retention).
• Oversee UAT test scripts and sign-off with business lines and QA.
