Job summary

Indera is seeking a Senior Employment Services Coordinator to develop, implement, and manage ACCES-VR and OPWDD services in the Syracuse area. You will support individuals seeking employment and coordinate with providers to secure competitive opportunities.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in human services and experience with individuals with disabilities, along with strong communication and organizational skills. A valid NYS driver’s license and flexible schedule are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human services field; two years’ experience with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities may be required for some ACCES-VR service delivery.
• Effective communication, time management and organizational skills required.
• Ability to work with diverse populations, including youth with disabilities, LGBTQ youth, English language learners, and youth with substance use and/or mental health diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Provide ACCES-VR employment services to individuals with disabilities and help locate, develop, and maintain competitive employment.
• Collaborate with businesses to obtain work experience opportunities for individuals.
• Prepare timely reports on individuals' progress with daily documentation.
• Deliver Pre-Employment Transition Services and teach job exploration, workplace readiness, and related topics.
• Train employment specialists and direct support professionals in ACCES-VR and OPWDD services.
