Job summary

You will work closely with senior attorneys, interact directly with clients, and develop case ownership on wage/hour, discrimination/harassment, and PAGA matters.

The role involves discovery, motions, depositions, and strategic case management with increasing independence, in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of employment litigation experience
• Strong wage and hour and/or discrimination/harassment litigation background
• Experience with class, collective actions and/or PAGA
• Deposition experience essential
• Strong motion practice and legal writing skills
• Excellent analytical and organizational abilities; growing independence in managing matters
• Strong client-facing and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Represent employers in complex employment litigation.
• Draft and respond to discovery and pleadings; prepare and argue motions.
• Take and defend depositions; assist with strategic management of matters.
• Communicate with clients and manage matters with growing independence.
