Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• 8+ years of relevant legal experience in employment law.
• Experience advising senior leadership on complex matters across HR, compliance and strategy.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day employment law counseling on hiring, discipline, leave and performance matters.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws including Title VII, FMLA and FLSA.
• Draft, review and update employment policies, handbooks and procedures.
• Counsel Company Officers and senior management on legal risk and strategy in business operations.
• Oversee employment-related litigation and EEOC matters; negotiate settlements as needed.
• Support due diligence and integration planning for corporate transactions and new initiatives.
