The role leads the Legal Department in driving legal excellence, supporting business objectives, and advising on corporate initiatives with financial impact. Must have a JD and extensive employment-law experience.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• 8+ years of relevant legal experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day employment law counseling on hiring, discipline, terminations, accommodations, leaves of absence, and wage-hour compliance.
• Ensures compliance with federal and state employment laws, including Title VII, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, ADEA, and state-specific requirements.
• Drafts and updates employment-related policies, handbooks, and procedures.
• Advises and counsels Company Officers and senior management on employment law issues and risk management.
• Oversees employment-related litigation and EEOC charges; negotiates resolutions of disputes.
