This role partners with senior leadership and subsidiaries to support business objectives and drive legal excellence.

The position offers leadership within the Legal Department, opportunities to influence major decisions, and to mentor and coach team members while assisting with risk identification

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• 8+ years of relevant legal experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day employment law counseling on hiring, performance management, discipline, terminations, leaves, wage and hour compliance, investigations, and employee relations.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws (Title VII, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, ADEA, and state-specific rules).
• Draft, review, and update employment policies, handbooks, and procedures.
• Advise senior management on employment-law issues and risk management.
