Job summary

Blue Origin in Seattle, WA is seeking an experienced investigator to lead workplace investigations end to end, partner with Labor Relations, and drive proactive Employee and Labor Relations strategies across the organization. You will work with leaders to resolve issues at the source and ensure compliance with federal and state laws.

Reporting to the People Experience Director, you will build trusted relationships, manage confidential information, and contribute to LR programs while supporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in Business, Human Resources, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of HR experience with leading workplace investigations end to end and handling highly sensitive information.
• Experience conducting fact-finding investigations and producing defensible investigative reports.
• Experience supporting or executing Labor Relations proactively, not just reactively.
• Experience guiding employees, managers, and HR on policies, procedures, and labor laws.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR investigations end to end regarding workplace issues, policy violations, misconduct, or employment law violations.
• Investigation intake, planning, interviews, evidence review, findings, and written reports.
• Partner with Labor Relations to execute proactive strategies and strengthen relationships.
• Identify ER trends with business leaders and deliver root-cause solutions.
• Analyze data from cases to surface patterns and measure impact of interventions.
• Explain policies and laws to employees and managers, training on investigations and ER fundamentals.
• Facilitate difficult conversations and contribute to LR programs and readiness activities.
