Job summary

Illuminate USA in Pataskala, Ohio seeks a senior Employee & Labor Relations Specialist to partner with associates and leaders, promote a positive workplace, apply policies consistently, and handle complex investigations in a unionized manufacturing setting. The role requires a Bachelor’s in HR or related field and 8+ years’ experience in employee relations; Workday is preferred.

A Master’s degree and SHRM certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive HR experience with strong focus on employee relations.
• Experience supporting a union or labor environment and familiarity with collective bargaining agreements.
• Demonstrated experience handling complex investigations and workplace conflict resolution.

Responsibilities

• Advise and coach leaders on the Associate Handbook, CBAs, and performance management.
• Lead complex investigations into harassment, discrimination, misconduct, and workplace disputes.
• Maintain compliance with labor laws, company policies, and applicable CBAs.
• Support grievance processes from intake through resolution and arbitration preparation.
• Provide day-to-day employee relations support to sustain a positive work environment.
