Job description

Help Shape an Employee Experience That Connects People

Cogency Global is seeking a Senior Employee Experience & Engagement Specialist to help create an employee experience where people feel informed, connected, heard, and recognized.

This is a hands‑on opportunity for someone who loves turning employee feedback and culture priorities into meaningful programs, communications, resources, and experiences. You'll work across Human Resources, Marketing, Legal, business functions, and regional teams to bring employee engagement initiatives to life across a remote and distributed workforce.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll play an important role in strengthening employee engagement and culture across the organization. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating engagement surveys, pulse surveys, focus groups, and other employee‑listening initiatives - and helping translate the results into actionable insights.
  • Improving key moments across the employee journey, including onboarding, milestones, internal transitions, recognition, and departure experiences.
  • Creating and coordinating recognition programs, culture‑building activities, employee celebrations, inclusion initiatives, and opportunities for employees to connect.
  • Developing engaging employee communications, campaigns, FAQs, announcements, surveys, talking points, and program resources.
  • Maintaining employee‑experience content across HiBob, The Globe, employee portals, and other internal communication channels.
  • Managing project plans, timelines, calendars, vendors, budgets, communications, and program logistics.
  • Tracking participation, adoption, employee feedback, and program effectiveness - and using the results to continuously improve the employee experience.
What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who combines strong communication skills, creativity, organization, and project management with a genuine interest in creating a great employee experience.

You’ll bring a bachelor's degree in human resources, communications, organizational development, business, marketing, or a related field - or an equivalent combination of education and experience - along with 3+ years of relevant experience in areas such as employee experience, employee engagement, internal employee communications, culture programs, people operations, human resources programs, or onboarding.

You’ll be especially successful if you’re a strong writer and editor, comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and deadlines, able to interpret employee feedback and program data, and confident working independently in a remote environment.

Experience with employee engagement surveys, recognition programs, change or executive communications, employee events, HiBob or another HCM platform, SharePoint or another intranet platform, and employee‑listening tools is a plus.

Why This Role Matters

This isn’t just about running programs. It’s about helping employees have a voice, strengthening connection across a distributed workforce, improving important moments throughout the employee journey, and making sure employee programs are delivered thoughtfully and effectively.

If you’re someone who can take an idea from concept to execution, write communications that people actually want to read, use employee feedback to make programs better, and build relationships across an organization, we’d like to hear from you.

Location: Remote; Eastern or Central time zones preferred
Travel: Limited, based on business needs
