Job summary

Southern California Edison (SCE) is seeking an Employee Communications Senior Advisor to lead a wide range of employee communications, campaigns and events. You’ll own communication plans end-to-end, craft content and use data to improve impact across the organization.

You will translate complex topics into clear messages, write using Smart Brevity principles, and advise leaders on best practices to elevate the employee experience. The role is Hybrid in California.

Qualifications

• Ten+ years in corporate communications in a corporate or agency setting.
• Experience developing communication plans, executive emails and talking points.
• Experience writing with AP Style and Smart Brevity.
• Familiarity with email content platforms and intranet tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic execution of communications strategy and measure effectiveness.
• Translate business goals into communications strategies and messaging.
• Develop blogs, op-eds, fact sheets, site copy and talking points.
• Advise leaders on best practices to elevate employee experience.
• Serve as a Public Information Officer during incidents and emergencies.
• Create content for diverse platforms and events.
