LeoForce in Indiana seeks a seasoned permanent Veterinarian with a passion for animals and a strong background in emergency room procedures and surgery. You will work in a fast-paced animal hospital, collaborating with a skilled team to provide exceptional care and educate owners on preventive health.

The ideal candidate is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with at least 5 years of ER and surgical experience, licensed to practice, and dedicated to ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• DVM degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years as a practicing veterinarian with focus on ER and surgery.
• Valid veterinary license.
• Proven experience in an animal hospital setting.
• Extensive knowledge of animal science and veterinary best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle a variety of animals safely and calmly.
• Strong problem-solving skills for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical examinations on a variety of animals.
• Conduct diagnostics (X-rays, blood tests, ultrasounds) to determine health issues.
• Perform surgical procedures (spay/neuter, dental, emergency surgeries).
• Prescribe medications and advise on pet care to owners.
• Collaborate with veterinary team to provide high-quality care.
• Maintain detailed patient records (diagnosis, treatment, outcomes).
• Engage in continuing education to stay current in veterinary medicine.
• Educate owners on vaccinations, heartworm prevention, and general care.
