Mission Support and Test Services (MSTS) seeks a Senior Emergency Response Specialist to manage NNSS emergency preparedness, coordinating with DOE/NNSA staff and facility managers. The role emphasizes training, procedure development, and on-call travel for site-wide emergencies.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in related fields, strong technical writing, and the ability to communicate with MSTS and government partners. U.S. citizenship and security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Emergency management experience and strong writing/editing skills.
• Ability to communicate across MSTS, NNSA/NFO management, and offsite agencies.

Responsabilités

• Plan and conduct facility-level training and drills; ensure responders are qualified.
• Develop and revise facility/activity emergency procedures per requirements.
• Support exercise design, planning, conduct, and evaluation per DOE/HS program concepts.
• Develop programmatic training for all-hazards and hazard-based scenarios.
• Serve as reporting party to DOE/NNSA NFO EM Program Manager and Facility Managers; maintain documentation.
• Be a member of NNSS Emergency Response Organization; be on-call and willing to travel.
• Understand MSTS safety concepts and perform other duties as assigned.
