Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare in Tallahassee, FL seeks an Emergency Care Technician I/II to assist nurses and physicians in delivering patient care safely. This role supports ED operations, maintains supplies, and helps coordinate patient care.

Required to hold Florida EMT license, EVOC 16-hour, BLS, HAZMAT awareness, and a driving record meeting TMH standards. High school diploma or equivalent is required; six months of ED technician experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• EVOC 16-hour course completion.
• Florida EMT license required.
• BLS certification required (AHA).
• HAZMAT Awareness certification.
• EVOC completion (16-hours).
• Must meet Florida EMT/EMS regulatory requirements.

Responsabilités

• Assist nurses, physicians, and mid-level practitioners in delivering patient care safely.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments and maintain ED readiness.
• Keep ED well-stocked and clean, ensuring no expired supplies or equipment.
• Provide basic life support, emergency care, and transportation as needed.
