Job summary

Two Six Technologies in Arlington, Virginia, seeks a Principal Software Reverse Engineer to advance vulnerability research on embedded systems for government customers. You will develop PoCs, lead technical directions, and mentor junior engineers in a fast-growing team.

Applicants should have strong C/C++, Python, Linux experience, and proven leadership in reverse engineering, firmware analysis, and tool development. Active TS/SCI with Poly is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field; security research/reverse engineering experience may substitute.
• Extensive C/C++ and Python development in Linux with low-level programming focus for reverse engineering.
• Experience with reverse engineering tools such as IDA Pro, Binary Ninja, or Ghidra.
• Expertise in firmware analysis (ARM, MIPS, PowerPC, RTOS) and emulation/rehosting.

Responsibilities

• Perform vulnerability research on complex embedded systems.
• Solve highly technical problems with minimal precedent.
• Develop tools to automate reverse engineering tasks.
• Productize PoCs or hand off results to developers for integration.
• Provide technical leadership and interface with clients to set project direction.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
