Job summary
Butler America Aerospace, LLC in Mineral Wells, TX is seeking an experienced Embedded Verification & Validation Engineer to lead HSIT activities for safety-critical avionics software. Qualifications
- 7 to 12 years of experience with a minimum 5+ years in embedded software testing/verification.
- Strong knowledge of HSIT and embedded systems testing concepts.
- Experience in unit, integration, system, regression, and requirements-based testing.
- Hands-on DO-178B/C verification activities and software V&V lifecycle experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform HSIT for embedded avionics systems.
- Develop and execute test cases, procedures, and scripts.
- Ensure traceability between requirements, tests, and results.
- Analyze test results and support defect resolution.
- Participate in verification reviews, audits, and certification support.
- Ensure DO-178B/C processes are followed.
- Collaborate with software, systems, and certification teams.
- Generate verification artifacts and compliance evidence.
- Support customer discussions and milestone deliveries.
