Diversified Services Network, Inc. in Mossville, IL is seeking a Senior Embedded Systems Validation Engineer to plan, execute, and document validation activities for embedded safety features on heavy equipment.

You will work with CMS/Detect safety projects, analyze data, and support release readiness. The role emphasizes devising test plans, executing validation, and producing quality documentation, with a global engineering team and on-site office/lab work, plus occasional bench validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5–7 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 4 years of experience.
• Experience validating software and systems, developing test plans, executing validation, analyzing data/logs, and documenting evidence.

Responsibilities

• Review system and software requirements, develop/update test cases, execute bench or machine validation, analyze logs/test data, document results, and support issue triage through closure.
• Interact with software, systems, validation, hardware, and machine application teams during design/test reviews, coordination, and defect-resolution discussions.
• Work as part of a global engineering team supporting embedded software, system integration, validation, and product quality activities across multiple machine programs.
• Primarily office/lab-based, on-site with occasional bench or machine-level validation depending on project needs.
