Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering with a minimum of 8 years of experience, or MS with minimum 6 years.
• Strong knowledge of embedded systems, embedded firmware, and RTOS.
• Experience with MCU/DSP cores and the software stacks that support them.
• Leadership track record delivering embedded software/projects.
• Proficiency with Python, shell, C, and C++, with test framework development.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in testing embedded firmware across the product cycle.
• Own communications with cross-functional teams in design reviews and project reviews.
• Design comprehensive test strategies for embedded firmware projects (black-box, white-box, stress).
• Develop automation plans to increase test efficiency and coverage.
• Implement tests in pre-silicon and post-silicon phases of development.
• Triage/debug issues with embedded teams and present results to stakeholders.
