Job summary

Palladyne AI is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to build Linux-based embedded software for our Pilot and SwarmOS robotics products. This on-site role is based in Salt Lake City, UT, with relocation assistance available.

The candidate should have 5+ years of relevant experience and strong modern C++ skills, including multithreading, IPC, and real-time constraints. You will work closely with hardware and software teams to integrate, debug, and validate software on physical robotic

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant embedded software experience.
• BS/BA in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own and independently develop embedded software for Linux-based robotic systems using modern C++.
• Develop software supporting Palladyne AI’s Pilot and SwarmOS products.
• Drive integration across software and hardware to resolve complex technical issues.
