Nomad Global Communication Solutions (Nomad GCS) is seeking an Embedded Systems Engineer to design, develop, and support embedded hardware and firmware across Nomad platforms, including the NTC. The role emphasizes system‑level thinking, real‑time capabilities, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems.
• Experience working in Linux environments.
• Basic networking knowledge.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or related preferred.
• Working knowledge of relational databases.
• Experience with FreeRTOS or other RTOS platforms.
• Exposure to closed‑loop control in robotics, automotive or aerospace.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support embedded hardware and firmware for Nomad Total Command (NTC) and other Nomad platforms.
• Develop firmware and control logic using C/C++ for microcontrollers and embedded processors.
• Write logic that bridges embedded hardware with NTC software using C/C++ and other languages.
• Integrate sensors, actuators, networking interfaces, and operator control systems used by the NTC platform.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Mechanical, Electrical, IT Integration, and Software teams to ensure embedded systems integrate with platform subsystems.
