Job summary

Applied Intuition is seeking senior embedded software engineers to build and integrate real-time software on production computers for the Vehicle OS platform. You will work in a fast-moving team to develop low-level embedded C/C++ code and RTOS applications for safe, reliable vehicle software.

The role emphasizes hardware bring-up, cross-functional collaboration, and productionizing software on new devices, with a strong focus on embedded safety-critical systems and real-time constraints.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working on embedded devices.
• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong background in embedded software development using C/C++ and assembly.
• Hands-on experience with RTOS, Linux, and/or ARM systems.
• Debugging skills with embedded diagnostics tooling: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG.

Responsibilities

• Integrate vendor components into a common software framework with low-level communication (CAN, LIN, I2C, SPI, UART).
• Implement real-time operating system (RTOS) applications as required for the product.
• Architect and develop high-quality C code for real-time embedded environments, including safety-critical systems.
• Support hardware bring-up, including low-level debug of board and SoC.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring up, productionize, and maintain software on new devices.
