Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer in Massachusetts to translate product requirements into firmware and driver software for SoCs.

You will collaborate with software architects on device drivers, contribute to bare metal and embedded software, and develop performance analysis tools across a global team. The role requires 5–7 years of experience, BS/MS in CS/EE, and strong C/C++ skills with RTOS knowledge.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering with 5-7 years of industry experience.
• Experience in firmware and bare metal drivers for MCUs, DSPs, or heterogeneous SoC architectures.
• Experience in bootloaders and device drivers.
• Debug across silicon, hardware, and software using IDE and JTAG/SWD debuggers.

Responsibilities

• Translate product requirements into SW and HW requirements.
• Design and develop device drivers for SoC solutions.
• Develop embedded software, microcode, and drivers for SoC products.
• Create software for performance analysis and profiling.
• Ensure software development, testing, and documentation with standard practices.
