Job summary
RTX is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer for Marlborough, MA, offering relocation. You will work on Strategic Communication Software projects, participate in collaborative teams, and drive end-to-end software development from design to field support.
The role requires strong C++ and embedded skills, RTOS experience, and the ability to interface with multiple disciplines while maintaining security clearance and US citizenship. A STEM background is essential.
Qualifications
- Experience across the software development lifecycle
- C++ software development experience
- RTOS and embedded programming experience
- Linux, VxWorks or similar RTOS experience
- Ability to collaborate with multiple engineering disciplines and stakeholders
- Active and transferable U.S. government security clearance required
- U.S. citizenship required for clearance
- STEM degree with 8+ years experience or advanced degree with 5+ years experience
Responsibilities
- Participate in cross-disciplinary product teams using agile methods
- Manage full lifecycle of product development from architecture to field support
- Adhere to the highest software engineering maturity levels as recognized by SEI
