Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and optimize firmware for next-generation connected devices, industrial automation systems, automotive platforms, medical devices, and IoT products. Qualifications

• Six or more years of professional embedded software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Embedded C and Modern C++ for firmware development.
• Experience with ARM Cortex-M/A and various microcontrollers.
• Strong understanding of embedded systems architecture, memory management, interrupts, DMA, timers, and peripheral programming.
• Hands-on experience with RTOS platforms including FreeRTOS, Zephyr, ThreadX, Embedded Linux, or VxWorks.
• Experience developing device drivers and low-level hardware interfaces.
• Strong knowledge of communication protocols including UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet, USB, Modbus, MQTT, BLE, TCP/IP.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated firmware builds, and version control systems.
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software and firmware for microcontroller and microprocessor-based systems.
• Develop low-level device drivers, BSPs, bootloaders, and HALs.
• Build real-time applications using RTOS platforms such as FreeRTOS, Zephyr, ThreadX, or Embedded Linux.
• Develop firmware supporting interfaces like UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet, USB, MQTT, BLE.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers during board bring-up and system integration.
• Optimize embedded applications for CPU utilization, memory footprint, power, and boot time.
• Implement secure firmware update mechanisms, secure boot, and hardware-based security features.
• Write tests and validation scripts for firmware quality and reliability.
• Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and Agile development activities.
• Support production deployments and field diagnostics.
