Job summary

Mesta Electronics, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and implement embedded software for power quality and conversion products.

You will work across the full stack from real‑time firmware to drivers and system integration, with collaboration across hardware, systems, manufacturing, and quality teams. The role requires leadership, mentoring, and delivering robust, production‑ready software solutions, with a focus on maintainability and compliance in a fast‑paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Science/Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in the Electrical Industry, power quality or related magnetic products.
• Strong understanding of embedded systems and microcontroller architectures.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python; familiarity with real‑time control paradigms.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, and verification of real‑time embedded software for microcontroller and DSP based systems.
• Collaborate with hardware team to ensure software compatibility and performance; lead integration and debugging.
• Develop unit, integration, and validation tests; maintain software documentation for internal and external use.
• Provide manufacturing and customer support, diagnose field issues, and perform root‑cause analysis.
