Job summary

Swoon is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer for a 12-month contract in Peoria, IL. This role will involve designing and developing embedded software for electronics control systems, mainly for diesel engines and battery electric systems.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field, along with at least 5 years of industry experience in relevant programming and systems implementation.

Qualifications

5+ years experience in embedded software development.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design and implement software for embedded devices.
Analyze and enhance system efficiency and stability.
Write database descriptions and analyze project requests.
